Matty, T, and I took a road trip south to Kiama. We witnessed the Kiama blow hole in action, took pictures, and moved to the next stop. At shellharbour we met up with their first friend on the island, Ken. (side note- they have tons of neat friends out here. It has been such a blast to get to know them and hear their hearts. I am so happy they have such a strong group of friends!) Ken was super neat and excited to share about his recent travels to Africa. While we were saying good-byes, he suggested we visit the Illawarra fly. Luckily, we took his advice and delighted in magnificent views of the coast. We headed out in search of the Nan Tien Temple. (In fine print, the brochure explained it was open to the public every day excluding Mondays. However, we read this after our efforts to get in the gate which I suggested would open if we got close enough. INEFFECTIVE.) We decided to drive home via the Pacific Coast and enjoy the scenery, consisting mainly of the ocean.
